General Terms and Conditions
- Entrants take part in Cystic Fibrosis Care Virtual Events entirely at their own risk and are 100% responsible for selecting a safe route to run SOLO or with one other person from your house, or on the spot in your own home. We are not advising you to run in a group.
- You must NOT RUN if you have symptoms of the Coronavirus.
- Entrants must run responsibly remembering the social distancing and the government rules and regulations outlined here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance taking every precaution.
- A runner should wear hi-viz clothing when running in low light conditions and take care around traffic or when running off road.
CFC accept no responsibility for any accidents or injuries sustained whilst taking part in a CFC virtual event.
- Children under the age of 16 are welcome to take part in our Virtual Running Event and must be accompanied and closely supervised by a parent at all times.
- By entering a CFC event, you are accepting that our charity will contact you to confirm your entry and keep you updated on the progress of your order. Per our Privacy Policy, you have the option of being added to the CFC mailing list to receive updates on future events, offers and news. You can unsubscribe from the Cystic Fibrosis Care mailing list at any time.
- After completing your virtual race take pics before and after or record your time and we will send you a finisher’s certificate. If you experience any difficulties, please contact the CFC team at contactus@cysticfibrosiscare.org.uk
- Cystic Fibrosis Care Virtual Events are not competitive events and as such, there will be no winner of each event.
- You agree that Cystic Fibrosis Care will be free to use any images which we are tagged on our social channels for any purpose.
- This virtual event is supporting those with Cystic Fibrosis at this difficult time during the Coronavirus pandemic with emergency grants for welfare and hardship requested by the hospital CF Teams based at CF Specialist Units.
- Cystic Fibrosis Care adheres to the regulations and guidance of The Charities Act 1992 positioning ourselves as a “Charity Participator”.
