We support people with CF who are in the most need through difficult circumstances.

Typically, a grant recipient will be on benefits or in a low paid job.

We only accept applications from referrals through specialist CF teams and social workers so that we are confident our funds are reaching those in the most need.

We can offer the following grants

  • Food voucher grant for an individual patient – £100 or £200 for a family
  • Energy hardship grant for up to £300
  • Exercise and gym equipment grant for up to £200
  • Enable emotional support grant for up to £300
  • Hospital costs and hospital travel grant up to £250
  • Welfare hardship grant up to £300
  • An educational or vocational training grant to help a patient get back into work for those over 21 up to £600
  • Provide vital medical equipment such as Pari E-Flow for a CF Unit which the NHS is unable to fund
  • Fund a Prescription Prepayment Certificate for CF patients on low income

We also offer the following services

  • Offering telephone support with help and advice
  • Capital fund to improve treatment facilities in CF Units
  • Funding fees for a Practitioner CF Nurse training course towards becoming a Specialist Nurse with EducateCF £650
  • Capital funding for specialist CF Units
  • Provide activity packs for people in hospital
