Congratulations to Rosie Straker for completing the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 11th October in a time of 2 hours 15 minutes. Rosie was running in memory of her cousin, Charlie York, who passed away in January of 2025 at the age of 20.
Rosie has, so far, raised £2,000, including gift aid, for CF Care.
On her fundraising page she writes;
‘In January 2025, we lost my darling cousin, who was just 20 years old at the time, to a life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
For those that knew him, he was an incredible person. He was so kind and caring and filled every room with love and lots of laughter! We all miss him every single day.
Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated, and will be directly helping families who are impacted by this devastating, hereditary disease.’
