BBC TV report – Gene Therapy Results
The CF community have been waiting for Gene Therapy research results and on 15 July BBC News interviewed Professor Alton of Imperial College London described the Gene Therapy Trials as ‘being encouraging’.
Pat Kilpatrick director of CF Care said “the trials began in 1993, they’ve come a long way, parents with children in their 20’s and 30’s have been waiting for many year to hear this news, being able to stabilise lung function is another step forward.
