Supporting Sheffield’s CF Community with New Equipment and Activity Packs
Cystic Fibrosis Care Charity Director, Patricia Kilpatrick was delighted to visit Sheffield Children’s Hospital to deliver a supply of Pari eFlow rapid nebulisers and activity packs for children living with Cystic Fibrosis. The Charity Director made the delivery in person, meeting with members of the specialist CF team to hand over the equipment, which will make a real difference to patients receiving care at the hospital.
The nebulisers were generously funded by a grant from the Gordon Bramah Charitable Settlement, which supports charitable work across North Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. These advanced, portable nebulisers offer faster treatment times and improved comfort for young patients — helping them to manage their condition more effectively and enjoy a better quality of life.
Alongside the medical equipment, children receiving care were also given activity packs to help brighten their hospital stays. The activity packs contain colouring and puzzle books as well as care items and sweet treats to help while away the long hospital days.
We are incredibly grateful to the Gordon Bramah Charitable Settlement for making this possible, and to the CF team at Sheffield Children’s Hospital for their continued dedication to young people living with this challenging condition.
