William Marler an award-winning animator, keen runner, and Cystic Fibrosis patient is supporting his mum and dad, Liz (55) and Jerry (59) to run the Manchester Marathon on 5th  April 2020 to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Care.

Taking inspiration from their son William, who completed the London Marathon in 2015, this will be Liz and Jerry’s first marathon. They are hoping to smash their £1000 fundraising target for Cystic Fibrosis Care. Donate here!

William, 24, from Worcester is a freelance animator whose most recent projects include animation for the 2018 and 2019 BBC Four Christmas Lectures, which have had over 1 million views to date.

His animation Pep Mask  – a Cystic Fibrosis film that’s been screened worldwide has helped to raise awareness for the disease, for which there is no cure.

William also helps to run an inspirational podcast for Cystic Fibrosis patients, carers and families called ‘Straight from the Lungs’ The Podcast has a global reach of 9000 + with listeners from as far as Peru, Australia, Sweden, Germany and the Czech Republic.

Launched in September 2018 his podcast in April/May will have a charity focus featuring Cystic Fibrosis Care.
