CF Care Thanks Northern Energy for A Successful Charity Golf Day
CF Care would like to extend our sincere thanks to Northern Energy for choosing to support us through their annual Golf Day, held recently at Oakdale Golf Club.
The event brought together customers, suppliers, friends and supporters for a fantastic day of golf, followed by an evening dinner featuring a raffle, live and silent auctions, and entertainment from after-dinner speaker Lester Crabtree.
The day was particularly special as Northern Energy once again honoured a cause that is very close to the heart of the Illingworth family. Support for CF Care reflects the legacy of the late Muriel Illingworth, whose connection to the charity continues to inspire fundraising efforts led by her family and the wider Northern Energy team.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, donated prizes, bid in the auctions and supported the fundraising activities throughout the day, an incredible total in excess for £7000 was raised for CF Care.
These funds will help us continue providing practical support to individuals and families affected by Cystic Fibrosis across the communities we serve.
We are extremely grateful to Northern Energy for their continued commitment to CF Care and for organising such a successful event. We would also like to thank everyone who contributed to the day, whether by attending, volunteering, donating or taking part in the fundraising activities.
The support of businesses and individuals like Northern Energy and its guests makes a real difference to the families who rely on our help, and we are proud to be part of an event that has become such an important tradition.
