A tough but enjoyable time was had by all at the 2016 Cat and Fiddle Challenge.

Despite terrible weather on Sunday 16th October, the Rourkie’s Cat and Fiddle Cycle Challenge was a great success with over 670 people joining Sean Kelly at the startline.

After the long arduous 1700 feet climb to the top of the Cat and Fiddle, the rain drenched cyclists pulled in for a welcome break and some homemade bread and butter pud cake.

Thankfully, everyone arrived back at Rourke’s safe and sound to a very welcome cuppa.

We had great support from Odo Sport – our sponsors, and many local and far away cycling clubs, such as the Brixton Cycle Club. The ride also featured some talented young riders who may one day become a future Wiggins, Cavendish, or Froome!
